Topic: Special Education Legal Update
Attorney Vasudevan will be reviewing the Dos and Don’ts in the Special Education Process Eligibility for Special Education Versus 504 Plans, Issues around Inclusion Preschool Program, Issues around Extracurricular Activities, Programmatic and Financial Responsibility for Program Schools, Dyslexia Screening, the use of Car Services and other timely topics in special education law. As always there will be plenty of time for Q+A.
FLLAC Educational Collaborative offers the ParaPro Assessment test for prospective and practicing paraprofessionals.
The test measures knowledge in reading, writing, math, and the ability to apply their knowledge and skills in the classroom. It is designed to satisfy the requirements of the federally legislated No Child Left Behind Act.
This 2 ½ hours timed test has 90 multiple-choice questions to be answered via a computer at the FLLAC Central Office, 2 Shaker Road, Suite D215, in Shirley, MA, 01464.

If you wish to cancel your registration, please submit a request in writing (via mail, email or fax) no later than 5 business days before the workshop’s start date. After that time, there will be no refunds or billing adjustments, however, you may send a substitute if approved by your supervisor.
In the event that a course is cancelled by FLLAC Collaborative, we will notify you as soon as possible. Although every effort is made to avoid last minute cancellations, if an emergency arises, we will do our best to reach you at the phone number and email address you provide.
Inclement Weather: If the school district where the FLLAC Professional Development Training is being held is closed due to inclement weather, that FLLAC training will be cancelled for that day/evening.
