Description
Location: 44 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg
Population: 35-38 middle to high school students with emotional behavioral concerns, limited academic success, and/or specific learning disabilities. Small class size and an emphasis on counseling/case management and social skills training are designed to allow students to return to their sending district whenever possible.
Services:
- Academic instruction in English/Language Arts, Social
- Sciences, Math, Science, Career Education, Art,
- Woodworking and Physical Education; Remedial
- Reading and Learning Disability Instruction; Health
- Education; Conflict Resolution and Peer Mediation;
- and Individual, Group and Family Counseling.
Related Services including occupational and speech therapy are available at an additional charge.
Curriculum: In accordance with the MA Curriculum Frameworks.
Transcripts provided to LEA Guidance Departments and students receive a diploma from the sending district.
