History

The Collaborative was originally
organized in 1975 to provide cost
effective programming for the low
incidence special education population
from each of its member communities.
The founding communities included
Fitchburg, Leominster, Lancaster and
Clinton.  Over the years, membership
in the Collaborative has grown to
include the 11 current member school districts, and services have expanded to meet the needs of area students.
