Classroom picture with their apples and pumpkins.

Miss Dorsey’s middle school class enjoyed a beautiful day full of fun in the sun at Red Apple Farm. Each student ventured into the pumpkin patch to pick his or her very own pumpkin. Next the hayride took them out to the apple trees where they learned to twist each apple like a doorknob and take them off of the tree. Immediately after, we shined the apples on our shirts and enjoyed them for a snack. Our apple treat did not end there. We enjoyed some cider and donuts, too! All of our fall pickings were purchased with our very own money, that Miss Dorsey had us count and total up the week prior to our outing. Learning about money is an important life skill to have. Last but not least, we fed the animals. Boy, were they hungry! After our picnic lunch we went back to Clinton Middle School. Thanks Ms. MariLu for getting us there and back safely in our big yellow FLLAC van! We cannot wait until our next field trip!
